What is Champs?

Champs is a league wide Championship meet where swimmers have the opportunity to swim against swimmers from all 23 teams in the Chesterfield Aquatic League! This is the highlight of our summer swim season!

This is a 2 day meet, divided up by age group, that is hosted at the Collegiate Swim and Aquatic Center (CSAC) which is also home to SwimRVA. 

Swimmers must qualify to attend Champs, by achieving a QUAL time or better in an individual stroke and swimming that stroke in at least 2 meets. Swimmers may compete in 3 individual events and 2 relays.

July 20th

Session 1: 8 and Under - 

Facility Doors open at 7:00 am, Warm-Ups begin at 8:00 am

Competition begins at 9:00 am

Session 2: 9/10 Year Old - 

Facility Doors open at 1:00 pm, Warm-Ups begin at 1:00 pm

Competition begins at 2:15 pm

July 21st 

Session 3: 11/12 Year Old - 

Facility Doors open at 7:00 am, Warm-Ups begin at 8:00 am

Competition begins at 9:00 am

Session 4: 13/14 and 15-18 Year Old - 

Facility Doors open at 12:00 pm, Warm-Ups begin at 1:00 pm

Competition begins at 2:15 pm
