Tarrington Tiger Sharks!

It’s time for our first home meet on June 10th!

Address and parking: Our clubhouse address is 3500 Ashwell Drive, Midlothian, Virginia 23113. The pool is actually located off Sherfield Drive. Specific directions are on our website TarringtonTigerSharks.swimtopia.com. 

Parking: To get to the larger parking lot for the pool, go through the traffic circle in front of the clubhouse, and then take your first left onto Sherfield Drive. The parking lot will be down the hill, and on the left. If both lots are full, please feel free to park on Sherfield Drive (over on the pool side of the street, to avoid blocking traffic) or on Ashwell Drive. We usually don't have a problem with sufficient parking. Please do not park in the traffic circle as emergency vehicles will not be able to pass and CCPD will tow.

Pool Seating: Make yourself at home! 

Tarrington will sit on the clubhouse side of the pool. There are some chairs already on deck, but we would encourage you to bring blankets and/or camp chairs as well, just to make sure that everyone is comfortable. You are also free to bring tents or umbrellas if you would like. We do ask you to let your families know not to drag around the chairs and tables -- we try to leave them in the approximate area they are already located. 

Heat Sheets: Heat sheets will be available electronically on Swimtopia and a copy will also be posted on our team website. Hard copies will be posted near the clerk of course.

Warm-ups: Please have your swimmer on deck by 5:10pm.

**Check your swimmer in at the front gate. Volunteers need to check in as well and pick up your lanyard. Volunteers will swap after backstroke. Please return all lanyards to the green box at the end of the meet.**

Tarrington will warm up from 5:30p-5:50p. Salisbury warm-ups will be from 5:55pm to 6:15 p.m. If you are going to be late to warm ups please let a coach know.

Timers' meeting and stroke and turn officials' meeting will be at 6:10 p.m.

The clerk of course will begin calling events at 6:15 p.m.

National Anthem at 6:25pm.

Other Housekeeping:

-Come hungry! We will have a food truck, El Guapo and Kona ICE, as well as a variety of concessions. The concessions will be set up in the baby pool.

-KEVA Style will also be on deck with special Tarrington and Salisbury designs!

-No one is permitted in the baby pool area or adult pool during swim meets. Also, only swimmers can be in the water and only during their warmups or races. This will be strictly enforced by our lifeguards.

-Please let your older swimmers know that we do dive-overs for our starts.
