Everyone- Please log on to Swimtopia and declare whether your swimmer is attending or not attending this meet. We currently only have 82 of our 150 swimmers signed up to swim! The coaches start working on entries and relays ASAP, so as soon as we have everyone sign up the better and the less last minute changes! 

What is USA Swimming SafeSport?

ABUSE PREVENTION PROGRAM

USA Swimming is committed to providing a healthy and positive environment free from abuse for all its members. USA Swimming’s Safe Sport program, a comprehensive abuse prevention program, consists of a multi-layered approach to keep kids safe, including: required policies and best practice guidelines; mandatory screening, including criminal background checks and employment screening; training and education; monitoring, supervision and mandatory reporting. These measures are informed by experts in the field of child safety and are among the strongest safeguards found in youth-serving organizations. 

What does this mean? The Chesterfield Aquatic League, its teams, officials, directors and coaches are implementing policies and procedures to keep your children safe! 

The biggest thing you'll see is there will be no parents, no cellphones and photography or videography behind the blocks at the start of the race. You can video and photograph from anywhere along the sides of the pool or on the turn of the pool. This also applies to any 25 meter race that would start from the turn end, there would be no photography behind the blocks or start during that time.
