The Summer Lake Tsunamis are looking forward to hosting you Monday, 7/14. The meet will begin at 6:30 p.m. and we hope to be done quickly. We have 8 lanes and will have dive overs for all 9 and up swimmers. Below is the timeline I have come up with in order to get our meet started on time, allowing each team a 20-minute warm-up:

5:25-5:45 - SL Warm Ups

5:50-6:10 - Tarrington Warm Ups

6:05 S&T Official’s Meeting- all first and second half officials please attend

6:10 Timer’s Meeting

6:15 First event gets called to Clerk of Course

6:25 First event is behind blocks ready to go

6:25 Anthem is played- Ripple Race (developmental swimmers race) following anthem

6:30 Start

Our timeline will be adjusted by a few minutes in order to allow our developmental swimmers to swim a 25 meter practice race with coaches in the water to assist if needed. If you have any developmental swimmers interested in participating in this race, have parents use THIS GOOGLE FORM to sign them up by 7/13 and we will be sure to include them.

We do expect each team to get their own swimmers for event 1 (8&U relays) behind the blocks. We will not use the clerk or course for any relay events and ask that you have relays organized and ready to go behind the blocks before each event. Clerk of course will begin seating swimmers with event 2.

Seating and Clerk or Course:

We will leave the tennis courts directly behind our pool for your team. When you arrive, come in the front gate of the pool and we will direct you to the gate leading to the tennis courts. I recommend you bring chairs, tents and blankets. We have a covered upper deck that is a great spot for spectators. Spectators can also watch from the area close to the entry gate near the diving well. Bathrooms are located just inside the clubhouse doors that you access near concessions. The Clerk of course will be set up by the kiddie pool. The kiddie pool will be closed during the meet.

Concessions:

Come hungry! Our concessions will have delicious food for swimmers and spectators. The menu includes burgers, hotdogs and cheese quesadillas, as well as snacks and drinks. We accept cash and cards. **Kona Ice will also be there for a sweet treat.
